Welcome to another busy week in the cosmos! This update includes the latest on the many planetary shifts that are still happening and how to best utilize this movement to serve you.
We still have many planets in retrograde but we are preparing for some to go direct shortly which will change things up – a lot.
First, the overarching theme has been to go within and begin (or continue) to get more clear about what is your truth. Many have been living for others’ expectations for so long that they are unclear what they want, or even who they are. That is ok. It is just where we have been. But now, we are no longer tethered to that energy. We can step into being free thinkers and actually create what we want – that is why it is so important to get clear as to what that is!
With Mercury in retrograde until Oct 19, you may have been finding it challenging to get from point A to B – whether that be in actual travel, or just trying to communicate your position to another person. This time is asking us to slow down, think about what we would like to communicate, and take our time in doing so. It is also asking us to focus on trying to understand others and what they are attempting to say. This time can feel frustrating, but that feeling can be alleviated just by taking a bit more focus and mindfulness with our interactions and movements.
Jupiter goes direct on Oct 17 and is the planet of growth and expansion. When it is in retrograde, we have the opportunity to see what is preventing our evolution. Basically, we get to see where we are in our own way. It can be intense to see the raw truth sometimes, but remember, that truth is linked to wounds that are ready to be healed. Those areas may feel dark and possibly scary, but there is nothing to fear in there. Much of what I have been seeing is childhood wounds surfacing. Experiences that felt bad, but as a child, we were not equipped to manage or process. We are being asked now to meet our child self and “parent” them through that pain. Show up for our child selves the way we needed back then, but did not receive.
So, if you notice triggers showing up, uncomfortable emotions surfacing, being more emotional than usual with no real explanation, please know (while possibly uncomfortable) that intensity is serving you in very productive ways. Focus on allowing them to flow through you without attaching to them or stirring up the past. Let the energy of them go. It can prove to be difficult sometimes to do this in stillness. Getting into our physical bodies now is recommended. Walk, dance, move! I have found that shaking my extremities and bouncing around has been very productive in the release. It might sound silly, but try it and see! It is very efficient! After you have moved any old stagnancies, you will be much better at identifying anything that needs more attention.
At that point, have a dialogue with your child self. Pay attention to those parts that have felt neglected, ignored, abused, or hurt. Talk to the child self and be there for that part as the wiser self you are now. What does your child self need? How can you provide it? This exercise is providing you with what you actually needed, therefore shifting that timeline and correcting the energy of the past, and allowing true love of self to be integrated. This is a very powerful exercise.
